Background, Interests & Experience

As a humanistic Therapist, I don’t only provide an experience revolving around studies and qualifications. I offer a lifetime of hard-earned knowledge and lived formative experience, using my own personal growth to inform my professional development and assist the personal development and well-being of my clients.

As a Queer, neurodivergent, French & polyamorous Therapist, I also offer a very specific intersectionality that is so beneficial to my clients. I am a trans inclusive, sex work & kink friendly feminist.

My journey as a client of psychoanalysis (Jungian, Freudian integrative, psychogenealogy), counselling & psychotherapy (Psychosynthesis, Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic) started in 2003. I started seeing clients in 2015, and within my private practice since 2017.

The therapy I offer is humanistic & activist, with a commitment to help my clients dismantle internalised discrimination (homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny, fatphobia, ableism & more) & normative conditioning, and help them emancipate from all societal stigmas for their unique diversity to be celebrated & empowered.

I have a background in Cinema & Theatre. I am passionate about arts, imagery, curiosity, imagination, creativity & playfulness.

I also worked over 15 years in Customer & Corporate Services in various industries, notably training new recruits. This has provided me with a great understanding of the stressful environment, imperatives & targets of the corporate world, and how it can impact our mental, emotional & physical health.

I have experience supporting a very diverse range of individuals (age, nationality, culture, gender & sexual identity, career etc.) with a very diverse range of challenges and issues, notably:

Personal Development
(Low Self-Esteem, Body Image issues, Expat Life, Work Stress & Career Path, Existential Crisis, Purpose etc.)

Diversity
(Gender & Sexual Identity, Cultural Identity etc.)

Neurodiversity

(mainly Autism, ADHD & High Potential individuals otherwise known as Gifted or Highly Sensitive Persons)

Please note I am not a trained Psychiatrist and can not offer an official diagnosis. If you need medical support, please ask your GP for a referral to a Psychiatrist. In that case, I can still provide a secondary support to your mental & emotional health.

Sexuality
(Intersections between Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Sex Life & Kinks etc.)

Relationships
(Loneliness, Intimacy, Belonging, Trust, Jealousy etc.)

NB: I work with Monogamy, Polyamory & all forms of Consensual/Ethical Non-Monogamy (CNM, ENM)
